Aruba customs rules
When you arrive in Aruba you walk through customs after baggage claim. Here are the most important rules for travellers.
Duty-free allowances (16 years and older)

| Alcohol | 1 litre of spirits, or 2.25 litres of wine, or 3 litres of beer |

Cash
If you carry cash or other means of payment worth AWG 20,000 (roughly US$11,000) or more when entering or leaving Aruba, you must declare it to customs.
Prohibited items
- Drugs and narcotics
- Weapons and ammunition (unless with a permit)
- Counterfeit goods and money
- Products of endangered species
Restricted items
- Drones: you need permission from the Aruban telecommunications authority to import and fly a drone.
- Medication: bring medicines for personal use in their original packaging, ideally with a doctor's letter or prescription.
- Meat, plants and fresh food: subject to strict rules; importing meat requires a permit from the Veterinary Service.
Travelling with a pet
Dogs and cats can enter Aruba without quarantine if they meet the requirements, including a microchip, a valid rabies vaccination given at least 30 days before arrival, a recent health certificate and import permission from the Veterinary Service of Aruba. Contact the Veterinary Service well before your trip.
