From the airport to your hotel
Aruba's airport is only a few kilometres from Oranjestad and 20 to 30 minutes from the main beach hotels. These are your options.

Taxi
Licensed taxis wait outside the arrivals hall and charge fixed government fares. There is no Uber or Lyft in Aruba. See all taxi fares.
Shared and private transfers
Tour operator De Palm Tours offers shared shuttles, express transfers with a maximum of two stops, and private transfers with a driver waiting for you in the arrivals hall. Transfers must be booked in advance; the ride to the hotels takes 20 to 40 minutes depending on the number of stops. Many hotels can also arrange a pick-up.
Bus
Arubus line 2 stops at the airport and takes you to the bus station in Oranjestad for $2.60. More about the bus.
Rental car
